Overseas photovoltaic market will double to 125 GW in 2019
Update Time : 2019-06-21 View : 2820

The domestic and foreign markets go hand in hand, driving China's photovoltaic industry to continue to gallop forward.

Over the past year, the strength of foreign markets has enabled China's photovoltaic industry to maintain its pace of development despite the 531 New Deal. After supporting China's photovoltaic industry to the top of the world, the domestic market has begun a new era of affordable access to the Internet.
On June 3, the 13th (2019) International Forum on Solar Photovoltaic and Intelligent Energy (Shanghai) of SNEC was held in Pudong, Shanghai. Gao Jifan, co-chairman of the Global Solar Council (GSC) and chairman of China Photovoltaic Industry Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He said that China's photovoltaic industry has experienced twists and turns, and has made remarkable achievements on all fronts in the past year; 2019 will be a milestone year for China's photovoltaic development.
Gao Jifan also said that the fourth industrial revolution will be launched in an all-round way, and technologies such as clean energy and Internet of Things, mainly photovoltaic, are developing in an all-round way. In the future, the society will build a new energy Internet of Things system, and enter a low-carbon or even carbon-free era.
The following is a selection of Gao Jifan's speeches for your reference:
After SNEC in 2018, the photovoltaic industry has encountered important policy adjustments. At the manufacturing end, the output of polysilicon exceeds 250,000 tons, an increase of 3.3% over the same period of last year; 87.2 GW of batteries, an increase of 14.3% over the same period of last year; 21.7 GW of components, an increase of 14.3% over the same period of last year; 44GW of domestic newly installed machines, a leading position in the world for six consecutive years.
At the same time, the amount and rate of discarded light in our country have both declined. In recent years, new progress has been made in photovoltaic industry cooperation, and new breakthroughs have been made in application. The Vietnam Brave Spirit has been further validated.
Overseas markets have grown in an all-round way as photovoltaic costs have fallen. The European Union market has recovered rapidly, the US market demand has rebounded sharply, and the photovoltaic market in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America has developed rapidly. It is expected that the overseas market will grow from 60 GW to 125 GW this year.
After years of development, photovoltaic power generation has become the world's largest new power generation energy, and now the cost has been reduced to one-twentieth of the previous. 2019 will be a milestone year for photovoltaic development in China. Photovoltaic will enter the youth era and the energy stage from the youth.
Climate change has become a global consensus. At the Paris Climate Conference, 146 countries set up renewable energy development goals. Santiago and Denmark in the United States have identified 100% renewable energy by 2035.
The fourth industrial revolution has been launched in an all-round way, and technologies such as clean energy and Internet of Things, mainly photovoltaic, are developing in an all-round way. In the future, the society will build a new energy system and enter a low-carbon or even carbon-free era through the overall solution of the energy Internet of Things.
In order to promote the industry's good ecological environment, all photovoltaic colleagues must continue to innovate, promote industry cooperation to a wider field, promote the deep integration of digital and renewable energy, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation with international industry enterprises through today's conference.
The photovoltaic industry will integrate with the Internet and big data, and make greater contributions to economic development and social development with the support of industry colleagues and the whole society.
