Recently, the prospective industry Research Institute released the report on the analysis of the current situation and trend of China's 5g industry development in 2019, which introduces 5g industry chain, typical 5g industry enterprises, top 10 application scenarios of 5g industry, and the development trend of global 5g industry, focusing on the analysis of the development trend of China's 5g industry.
Citing IHS Markit's forecast, the report points out that 5g will contribute US $2.1 trillion to global GDP from 2020 to 2035, which is equivalent to India's current GDP, which is currently the seventh largest economy in the world.
In terms of 5g R & D expenditure, the report shows that the United States and China are expected to lead 5g R & D and capital expenditure in the next 16 years. The two countries will invest $1.2 trillion and $1.1 trillion respectively, accounting for 52% of the global 5g investment.
